IGT Signs Agreement with University of Iceland Lottery

(LAS VEGAS – Jan. 26, 2012) - International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT) announced today the signing of a six-year contract extension with the University of Iceland Lottery (UIL). The agreement includes the installation of 230 new G MLD® cabinets, which will feature IGT's unrivaled graphics and renowned 3D technology.

UIL's partnership with IGT began in December 1993 when UIL received its authorization to operate Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs) for revenue expansion purposes for the University system. Currently, UIL utilizes the IGT Casinolink® and EZ Pay® systems and operates 500 IGT gaming terminals, mainly installed in bars, taverns and arcades all over Iceland.

Gaming Laboratories International Adds Four Members To U.S. Development Staff

Joining the GLI team are Melissa Aarskaug, Jason Krause, Teri LeBaron and Lauren Roberts-York, each of whom bring a level of expertise and personal service that will serve GLI's regulatory and supplier clients extremely well.

3.  Commission meets industry at ICE and EAG trade shows

The Commission was available to meet the industry face to face at this week's trade shows at both Earls Court and ExCel exhibition centres. Both stands were busy with lots of queries regarding licensing and compliance with which we were happy to help. Chairman Philip Graf welcomed fellow regulators from around the world and Director of Regulation Nick Tofiluk addressed the World Regulatory Briefing audience.

4. DCMS publishes consultations on potential legislative reform orders

The first proposes to correct the unintentional oversight with regard to siting gaming machines in airside areas.

The second creates an exemption under section 55 of the Gambling Act 2005, allowing the employment of children and young persons in non-gambling roles on tracks (such as racecourses) which hold a betting premises licence. This was the original policy intention.

Cantor Gaming Gains Final Licensing Approval for Sports Wagering at Palms Casino Resort

LAS VEGAS, Cantor Gaming®, a leading innovator in entertainment and wagering technology and pre-eminent race and sports book operator in Nevada, announced today that it has received final licensing approval by the Nevada Gaming Commission and Gaming Control Board to operate the race and sports book at Palms Casino Resort.  With these approvals in place, Cantor Gaming will begin operating the race and sports book at Palms on February 7, 2012.

Zukido partners with Hattrick to launch PSK Online in Croatia

Zukido, the e-gaming and sports betting specialist, partnered with Hattrick to launch a new website for Croatian operator PSK, one of Hattrick's local brands.

Zukido specialise in adding value add to a sports betting operator, and in this case provided product consultancy, design and development services for the Croatian based bookmaker.

The new online presence for the bookmaking group is a multilingual, rebrandable solution which will allow Hattrick to easily enter other countries and markets. The solution is localised for the Balkan market across many sports and also features lottery, live statistics and results, as well as supporting simple and system bet types.

The new site gives punters a single account across online and retail allowing them to create complex bets that are placed in the Hattrick retail estate whilst recording the shop bets against their online account.

The deal between Zukido and Hattrick is the first phase of the partnership with more products to come.
