The mobile version of Cash Wizard also includes the 1970s hit-song "Magic", which can be downloaded directly through the app from iTunes. Like Cash Wizard, Golden Pharaoh delivers outstanding gameplay like the land-based casino game. This app features game mechanics like U-Spin™, a gesture-control technology that enables players to touch and spin a virtual wheel during a bonus round. Another player-favorite play mechanic offered in Golden Pharaoh is Directional Wilds™, where a "wild" dial appears on a reel and spins, making every symbol in line with the pointing dial wild. The Fireball delivers a casino-favorite to life in the palms of players' hands. Featuring a towering, eye-catching upper screen and upbeat music, Fireball offers Bally's popular Game-in-Game™ feature as a unique eight-level progressive. Incorporating Blazing 7s 7x Pay, Fireball Frenzy™, Triple Jackpot Triple Blazing 7s, Triple Bonus Frenzy™, Double Jackpot Triple Blazing 7s, Diamond Line™, Bonus Frenzy™, and Blazing 7s, Fireball delivers a host of classic and popular Bally titles in this one amazing game. Posted: 02 Feb 2012 10:30 AM PST The UK gaming group, Rank, has launched a £250m ($392m) bid for Gala Coral's casino division. The combination of the two estates would create the UK’s largest casino operation by number of venues, with Rank presently operating 36 casinos, while Gala has 25. Rank aims to widen the reach of Gala’s venues to a youthful more female orientated player-base in the successful mould of its G Casino brand. Gala Coral has net debt of £2.1bn, though its casino business generated earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation of £26.7m in the year to September 2011, on revenues of £134.4m. In its full-year results last September Gala reported a post-tax loss of £643.4m, mostly due to exceptional costs. Rank, which has about £30m in net cash, would fund the deal with a mixture of cash and debt. Rank's Grosvenor casinos division, which plans to expand to 45 casinos by 2015, accounted for more than a third of group revenue in the first half of 2011 and two-thirds of the company's £29.5m operating profit in the period. A deal would see Rank, 74 per cent owned by Malaysia-based Guoco, overtake Malaysian business rival Genting, which has 46 UK casinos. |
STATION CASINOS TO GIVE AWAY $5M IN CARS AND CASH DURING FEBRUARY CAR A DAY GIVEAWAY Posted: 02 Feb 2012 01:17 AM PST (Las Vegas, Nev.) Station Casinos will give away 200 cars and $400,000 in cash February 10-29 during its "$5 Million Car-A-Day Giveaway" promotion. All 10 Station Casinos and Fiesta locations (Aliante Station, Boulder Station, Fiesta Henderson, Fiesta Rancho, Green Valley Ranch resort, Palace Station, Red Rock Resort, Santa Fe Station, Sunset Station and Texas Station) will each give away one car per day during the 20 day promotional period. The $5 million giveaways in 2011 and 2012 are the largest promotions in Station Casinos' history. Generous promotions with cars are a long standing tradition with Station Casinos that date back to the company's founder, Frank Fertitta Jr., who created the original "Car A Day in May" promotion. In the 70's and 80's, Fertitta saw many casinos tout a single car as a prize, but rarely were they given away. He created the "Car A Day In May" promotion with a commitment to create several winners by giving one car to a customer each day of that month. The company, now run by his sons, expanded Fertitta's legacy by reviving this idea and expanding it last year to a promotion worth millions of dollars and an opportunity for guests to win a car a day at multiple properties. Drawings for the "$5 Million Car-A-Day Giveaway" car winner will be held daily, beginning February 10, at 8:15 p.m. in each casino. Vehicle winners will be able to choose from four select Chevrolet models: Camaro, Sonic, Silverado and Cruze. In addition to one car winner each night, four $500 cash winners will be drawn at each location, which breaks down to a total of 50 big wins each day across Southern Nevada. When the contest is completed, there will be a total of 1,000 wins guaranteed from the promotion. Winners do not have to be present at the drawing, but prizes must be claimed within 24 hours. The contest eligibility period for members of the free Boarding Pass rewards program begins on February 6. Entries are good all month long and must be activated by swiping rewards cards daily at Boarding Pass kiosks by 8 p.m. Members of the program will get one entry for every 50 slot points earned at any Station Casinos or Fiesta location. Additional entries may be earned by playing table games, live poker, bingo and with select race and sports wagers. Boarding Pass members will also receive 10 free entries daily February 10-29 just for swiping their cards at a Boarding Pass kiosk. Full contest details are available at www.stationcasinos.com. About Station Casinos Station Casinos owns 17 properties throughout Southern Nevada including Boulder Station, Green Valley Ranch Resort, Fiesta Rancho, Fiesta Henderson, Palace Station, Red Rock Resort, Santa Fe Station, Sunset Station, Texas Station, Wild Wild West and several smaller properties under the Wildfire Gaming division such as Gold Rush and Wildfire Casinos. Additionally, the company manages Aliante Station. For more information, visit www.stationcasinos.com.

Dallmeier USA at ISC West 2012 Posted: 02 Feb 2012 01:10 AM PST From 28 to 30 March 2012 Dallmeier USA will exhibit at ISC West in Las Vegas and introduce the new multifocal sensor system Panomera® to the US market. Visit us at stand 4127! The award-winning and much-lauded multifocal sensor system Panomera® is a novel camera technology with a special lens and sensor concept. This makes it possible to display expansive areas and large distances with a completely new resolution quality – in real time and with high frame rates of up to 30 fps. In so doing, Panomera® far surpasses the HD 1080p standard: The "Panomera® effect" begins where conventional HD and megapixel cameras reach their limits. With Panomera®, a huge area can be surveyed from a single location in a highly efficient manner. The system highly impresses with the unique combination of an overall view with simultaneous high detail resolution: Contrary to conventional HD cameras where more distant objects cannot be resolved any more when you zoom in, Panomera® guarantees uniform resolution over the entire object space. Even objects that are farther away can be displayed with the same resolution as objects in the foreground of the picture. Another decisive advantage is the cost-efficiency of the system: where previously several HD cameras had to be installed, a single Panomera® system is now enough – which also means only one installation site is necessary. Since fewer camera installation locations are needed, the requirements for the infrastructure (masts, cables, electricity, etc.) are substantially lower, along with expenditures for servicing and maintenance. Besides Panomera®, Dallmeier will also present other highlights from its extensive range of video over IP solutions at ISC West in Las Vegas, e.g. the high-performance video management software SeMSy® III or the energy-saving recording systems of the Smatrix series. About Dallmeier Dallmeier has at its disposal more than 25 years of experience in transmission, recording as well as picture processing technology and is an outstanding pioneer of CCTV/IP solutions worldwide. This profound knowledge is used in the development of intelligent software and high quality recorder and camera technologies enabling Dallmeier to not only offer stand-alone systems, but complete network solutions up to large-scale projects with perfectly integrated components. Right from the beginning the company always focused on own innovative developments and highest quality and reliability. Dallmeier is the only manufacturer in Germany that develops and manufactures all components on its own. This includes the entire product range, from cameras to picture storage and transmission to intelligent video analysis and even individually adjusted management systems. Quality made by Dallmeier, made in Germany! Over the years, Dallmeier has repeatedly given fresh impetus to the market with new developments and extraordinary innovations. The world's first DVR for example, which introduced digital recording to the entire CCTV industry, came from Dallmeier. The multifocal sensor system Panomera will have a similarly groundbreaking effect: This unique and novel camera technology will revolutionise the market and open up completely new possibilities to the video security industry. This and the extensive experience in the CCTV and IP field have lead to a top position in the international market for digital video surveillance systems. www.dallmeier.com www.panomera.com www.caminpix.com www.casino-surveillance.com www.videonetbox.com
