Junior Painter of the Year 2012 Competition

The Royal Academy and international charity, Sightsavers have just launched it’s nationwide children’s painting competition, Junior Painter of the Year. The competition, now in it’s seventh year, is open to 3 categories:

  • Infants (ages 4-7)
  • Lower Juniors (ages 8-9)
  • Upper Juniors (ages 10-11)

The theme of the competition is i:dream, giving children the chance to paint what they dream about. There are lots of exciting national and regional prizes, so visit the site to find out how to register and to download their free teaching resources.
