| Learn through games at Pora Ora Posted: 29 May 2012 10:00 AM PDT Pora Ora is a new virtual world that aims to help 5-12 year old children learn through gaming. It provides a safe online environment for children with parents and teachers able to monitor their online activity. Watch this video to find out more: Click here to view the embedded video. The games and quests within Pora Ora are adjusted to challenge each child and teachers can access progress reports that outline strengths and weaknesses. Safety and security settings can also be adjusted by adults, allowing children to explore the online environment safely. The site is free for schools to use and you can find out more here.
