The latest report from PwC on gaming trends worldwide 2010 - 2015 initially makes for depressing reading, showing a general slowdown in gaming revenues but the general trend is still upwards - Asia (42%).

Neither European nor the US operators will be content to just plod along; Spikes of development will happen everywhere. In the US this means the changes by individual States but in Europe there is still great scope for a pan-country approach to casinos, lead by a need to regularise gaming online.

With the Olympics only a few weeks away, the focus is definitely on Britain so let's hope The BBC decide to act responsibly and offer support - not do its utmost to trash a National event as witnessed shamelessly in the run up to EURO 2012.
