| Celebrate Childline’s Big 25th Birthday! Posted: 03 Jul 2012 10:00 AM PDT To celebrate its 25th birthday ChildLine is encouraging schools to get involved in the ChildLine Big Birthday week [8-12 October] and help break a Guinness World Record for the most greetings on a single birthday card. The Big Birthday week encourages primary and secondary schools take part in lots of fun and quirky fundraising activities to celebrate the milestone and raise £250,000. Once schools register on the Big Birthday website, a host of teaching and fundraising materials and resources are available for teachers to use. Children are providing lots of great content, including assembly presentations, posters, stickers, sponsor forms and quizzes. There is also the Big Birthday Forum where schools can share their ideas and fundraising plans. Every school that fundraises is also invited to send in their birthday greeting for inclusion in the giant card. Find out more here or watch the embedded video:
