Posted: 05 Jul 2012 10:00 AM PDT

Shakespeare’s Globe theatre in London is a popular venue for performances of Shakespeare’s work. The venue also offers a wide range of education opportunities including visits and workshops for students, young people and teachers. School-based workshops can also be booked, allowing education professionals from the company to visit your school.

Globe Education have also recently produced a new section of their site called the ‘Discovery Space‘. This offers insights into rehearsing, producing and staging productions at Shakespeare's Globe, interviews with actors, an archive of past productions, information for students and teachers' notes on school set works, academic papers and links to further information sources. It’s a great resource for drama teachers and those who use Shakespeare’s work in their classroom. Find out more here.
