Have you seen the new Teaching Events?

Teaching Events was originally launched in 2010 as a place to find events and special days that could be used as the starting point for learning in the classroom. However, the previous version of the site only listed a short piece of information about each event, so I’ve recently relaunched the site with a number of new features.

The new Teaching Events now includes background information about each event, suggested teaching ideas and related links. I’ve also been busy making lots of new resources that can be used to celebrate / learn about the special occasions, including printable banners and activity resources. There is also a handy ‘Upcoming Events’ list in the sidebar of the site that highlights events that are taking place at the moment and over the coming days / weeks.
