The ECA Slot Summit in Paris was an overwhelming success with 130+ delegates being entertained and educated over the 3-day course; Something Lucien Wijsman calls edutainment - and long may it continue.
Already plans are being made for the next ECA event in Casino Hohensyburg, Dortmund April 23-25, 2013.
Rewind to August and there was another successful event - the British Gaming Golf Championship where Chris Crump of Praesepe was the winner of the Casino Life donated weekend for two at the Chateau Des Vigiers - check out this fabulous retreat on page 45. How appropriate that Praesepe themselves handed over a cheque for 85,000 GBP collected from their customers. CHIPS is a great charity and we will continue to support them in the future.
And so to G2E. We expect a big push on mobile gaming and social media - what WMS have coined SOMOCO - and an almost evangelical focus on Online gaming. We have a stand at the event and magazines distributed throughout the show so please drop by and say hello. To extend our reach and meet as many exhibitors as possible, Peter and I will be joined at the show by Damien Connelly.
