Posted: 15 Oct 2012 10:00 AM PDT

Our popular series of resource sites of the week continues with Primary Treasure Chest…

Primary Treasure Chest is a free teaching resource website, providing 1000s of high quality resources for the Foundation Phase, Early Years and Key Stage 2. The website was set up in early 2010 by Paul and Zoe. Zoe is a full time primary school teacher in Swansea and is the brains of the operation. Paul previously worked in web design and is now in charge of the daily running of the website, as well as creating and adding the resources. The resources are completely free with no need to subscribe/register/login and are available as either a PDF or Word document format in both English and Welsh.

Most of the resources are editable which means you can change the text on the resource to any font / language you require. With high quality images and creative minds at work the resources are very popular, especially the role play resources. The display lettering Word documents feature a wonderful double mounted themed effects, so you can just use the letter/numbers/characters you want and even resize them. Many of the resources feature a double mounted effect, which means you can simply print and display the resources straight away, without having to go through the tiresome process of double mounting.

New resources are constantly being added, if there is a resource you need, just contact Primary Treasure Chest and they will be happy to help. They also have a ‘Topic Books’ section, which provides a list of helpful topic related books. Find Primary Treasure Chest at www.primarytreasurechest.com.
