Italy’s No 1 Change Machine Manufacturer with Further Innovations at ICE

Posted: 12 Dec 2012 08:46 AM PST

VNE – Italy's most successful manufacturer of change machines – will once again be welcoming visitors to its stand at the forthcoming ICE exhibition in London at stand number S11-110.

The extensive product range will be on display. This includes change solutions in banknotes to coins, banknotes to banknotes and coins, coins to coins and tickets to banknotes and coins.

Super Change VLT from VNE

The latest solution has been conceived particularly for the UK market. Thus, the ICE exhibition is the perfect location for it to receive its international premiere. The Two Pennies change machine is targeted for the UK resort arcades which have many amusement games that cost 2 pence per play. The Two Pennies has extensive change capacities – up to 18,000 coins. The integrated large screen monitor and loud speakers makes this change machine much more – it becomes a marketing device – allowing operators to channel messages and play music. It is this entertainment factor that makes Two Pennies the perfect new change machine for the UK arcade sector. Two Pennies changes any UK coin denomination over 2p into 2p pieces. A further model is available with a secure, anti-fraud banknote reader. This version is called the Maxi Changer.

Two Pennies from VNE

VNE has amassed great experience in the gaming sector as well. Italy is the largest market for VLTs in Italy and thus VNE has the right solutions for change in this market segment.

The Super Change VLT accepts and dispenses coins and banknotes and handles tickets and cards. The bulk coin acceptance accepts coins at 20 coins per second – ideal for tipping in a pot of coins. The data access system enables an online connection so that remote monitoring and adjustments are just a click of a button away.

The Queen Change is the regal change machine for the VLT market. It accepts and dispenses barcode tickets and can be connected to all VLT platforms. The coin and note capacity are very high – 4,500 coins (3 hoppers) and 3,000 notes (5 note dispensers).

Nino Verona, Valentina Santarelli and Lorenzo Verona of VNE

VNE is the market leader for change machines in Italy with over 60,000 VNE change machines in operation. Mr. Lorenzo Verona, Commercial Director at VNE, is looking forward to the ICE, stating, "In the space of a few short years we have brought VNE to the forefront of the largest and most contested market for change machines in Italy. As a family-owned company, we are in the position to move quickly to develop what the market really requires. This philosophy has taken us to the top in Italy. It is exactly the same philosophy that we have for international markets. We invite international companies to come and see us at the ICE – we are actively seeking new distributors to add to our growing team of global distributors".

Security – Simplicity – Service

The motto 'security – simplicity – service' well characterises the product range and philosophy of VNE.

Security: The new Viking change machine weighs 150 kg – over almost three times the standard change machine weight. The double steel protection in the front door and the multitude of heavy-duty locking hooks explain this additional weight. In addition to this, VNE offers the possibility to secure VNE change machines to a wall (using the 'Blindo') or the floor (using the 'Heavy').

Simplicity: This refers to how modular and flexible the VNE change machines are. Only the best components in the industry find their way into VNE change machines – for example the Merkur Dispenser 100 from Merkur Gaming or the B2B 300 or B2B 200 from CashCode (Crane) for banknote recycling. Thus, change machine customisation allows operators to create exactly the change machine they require.

Service: The online monitoring and supervision of all VNE change machines makes the operation of VNE products viable anywhere around the globe. VNE offers full online support in real-time. Operators can thus see in real-time the transactions and any possible technical queries of all their VNE change machines regardless where they are in use. This information can be passed on to the VNE support team – guaranteeing the best possible uptime of change machines.

Further benefits: VNE change machines can be operated as a marketing tool due to the new possibility to place a TV screen over each change machine. Operators can use the screen for advertising / information or entertaining purposes.

Further examples of the VNE product range: King Change, Token Change, Mega Change, Full Change, Hyper Change, Compact Change and Fifty Four.

The whole VNE team is looking forward to greeting visitors to their stand at the forthcoming ICE.
