10 More Resources for Christmas Activities

Following my previous post about 10 Resources for Christmas Activities, here is another list of 10 great sites!

1) WhyChristmas have lots of information about Christmas traditions, customs and history. They also have a number of interactive features, including a tree to decorate online and a Nativity scene builder.

2) Over the past few weeks, I’ve been adding ideas and resources linked to popular Christmas books to the Teaching Ideas Library. have you read Father Christmas Needs a Wee, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and The Night Before Christmas?

3) Communication4All has a special page that is full of Christmas resources, including themed paper, presentations, colouring images, word card / mats and more!

4) Mrs. Pancake have a large selection of Christmas printables and activities.

5) Northpole.com is a popular site that offers Christmas games, activities, stories and printables.

6) Phillip Martin’s wonderful clip-art gallery has a special selection of Christmas pictures that teachers can use in their classrooms.

7) Teacher’s Pet have some fantastic resources for Christmas, including posters about a Victorian Christmas, Nativity story prompts, word mats, labels and much more. Take a look!

8 ) Twinkl also have lots of free Christmas resources, as well as products for purchase.

9) Learn-ICT have a lovely story that can be read with / by children. It also includes lots of question prompts that can be used as the starting point for discussions.

10) A special website of Christmas resources is also available at nollaigshona.ie. Some of the resources are in the Irish language and there are lots of other Christmas resources and links too.
