I've managed to secure a limited number of tickets to the London Value Investor Conference 2013, each with a £50 discount. The conference takes place on 9th May 2013 at Central Hall Westminster with the following speaker line-up:
- David Harding, Winton Capital - Searching for Value in Data
- Howard Marks, Oaktree Capital - The Most Important Thing
- Anthony Bolton, Fidelity China Special Situations Fund - Special Q&A Session
- Nick Purves and Ian Lance of RWC - New Challenges for Value Investors – Is this time Different?
- Michael Price, MFP Investors - The Peter Cundill Foundation Address
- Richard Oldfield, Oldfield Partners – TBA
- Plus additional speakers from smaller, less well known funds.
- As part of their presentation, each of the speakers will give at least one current investment idea.
There is also an early bird option for the conference which will expire shortly. This is the cheapest ticket price that will be offered, and the early bird option can be combined with the discount that I have secured, providing a further £50 off that already reduced rate.
If you take advantage of the early bird option and subsequently find that you cannot attend, you can get a full refund until 1st April.
Winton Capital has kindly agreed to sponsor a drinks reception after the event on the 9th May, which will be a great opportunity for networking.
The last London Value Investor Conference donated its profits to the children's charity, the SMA Trust, and this year's conference will be supporting the children's charity Place2be.
