LOCUS GAMING LAUNCHES JACK WILD Posted: 14 Jan 2013 01:35 AM PST January 14th, 2013 Isle of Man-licensed operator Locus Gaming has launched Jack Wild, a casino uniquely optimised for smart phones and tablets. The new product offers a range of traditional table games including roulette, blackjack and baccarat, as well as 3-reel and 5-reel slots. Its entry comes less than a year after Ladbrokes veterans Ed Andrewes and Mick d'Ancona set up Locus Gaming to offer a casino modern gamers would find more intuitive and usable. Andrewes, who was MD of Ladbrokes' online operation, believes the quality of the customer experience through the use of responsive design will be the key differentiator between Jack Wild and its competitors. He said: "The key thing is that the customer account platform and games are tailored to optimise the customer experience for the devices from which they are accessed. "They are not simply 'bolt-on' products to a traditional PC offering and in the longer term this can really make the Jack Wild brand stand out." "It's proven that customers prefer the functionality offered by touch screen devices, not only in casino gaming but across all online leisure activity. The PC has rolled its last dice." As well as the traditional table games powered by Realistic Games Jack Wild has gone live with slot games, including Double Bubble, Tutankhamun, Pentagram, Over the Rainbow, Pirate Radio and Sunset Reels. Additional products are set to be rolled out in the UK market during the second quarter of 2013, with an eye to extending the site's reach in selected regulated markets in the near future. The site, which features on the NYX Interactive account platform and is supported by a UK call centre, will match first deposits of up to £150. Locus Gaming, who received their Isle of Man licence in December, has chosen Datacash as their payment processing partner and will accept wagers in seven different currencies.
