Free Resources for Developing Economic Awareness Posted: 15 Jan 2013 10:00 AM PST
Chance to be Chancellor is a digital educational challenge that gives students a chance to learn about, and share their opinions on, Budget 2013. Pupils are asked to consider a range of policies and choose those that they feel are best for the country's economy. The creators of the site then gather the opinions of all students who take part and publish them in the 'Youth Budget’. A competition is also available that asks students to create a short video arguing their own choices, with a chance to win an iPad and an exclusive invite to the Youth Budget 2013 launch event. Chance to be Chancellor runs is open to all 14-18 year olds until 15 February 2013. To find out more visit www.chancetobechancellor.org.uk |
