VNE ICE underlines international growth

Posted: 14 Feb 2013 10:45 AM PST

Having grown to become the largest and most successful change machine manufacturer in Italy within the space of a few short years (with over 60,000 change machines in operation), VNE naturally has much to offer to the international market. Such solutions were on proud display on the VNE stand at the ICE which took place between 5th and 7th February at London's ExCeL Centre.

Lorenzo Verona and Valentina Santerelli introduce biometric readers to change machines at the ICE 2013

Change machines are not just change machines any more. They are secure, safe and strong. And they are a way to reach out to customers. The VNE change machines can all be operated remotely. Thus, operators have clear, real-time information. Change machines naturally hold a large amount of money so need to be ahead of the game. That means that VNE offers a device to track all their change machines – even when the power is off – displaying on Google Maps the exact location of each individual change machine.

Although the ICE is an international exhibition, VNE took the opportunity to display its solutions for the local market. The '2P' change machine is targeted to the family-centre entertainment (FEC) locations and seaside arcades where there are many games that cost 2 British pence. A capacity of 18,000 coins means that operators do not need to worry about running out of change. Should operators wish to offer the ability to change notes to coins and not just coins to coins, the 'Maxi Changer' includes a note validator. The modularity of the VNE change machines means that operators can simple reprogramme the devices to pay out a different coin denomination – such as 10 British pence. Adding to all of this, the large integrated monitor and speakers allows the change machine to play music, show messages, advertising, etc. Simply connect the information you wish to display via USB, then it runs by itself.

Security – Simplicity – Service. This is the motto of VNE that combines industry-leading change machines with the highest level of service. Brand new to the ICE was the introduction of a biometric reader to the change machines. Thus, personnel no longer need an ID card to operate the change machine – this is all done by the individual fingerprint. Simple and secure – and a fantastic service. That is VNE.

The wide range of change machines for international markets was on display on the VNE stand. Whether for simple changing, bill breaking, VLT solutions, retail and even cheque printing – VNE is the partner that can offer solutions tailored to customer requirements. Being family-owned and family-managed by the Verona family means that management can put requirements / wishes into reality in an extremely timely and professional manner.

Further examples of the VNE product range include: Viking, King Change, Token Change, Mega Change, Full Change, Hyper Change, Compact Change and Fifty Four.

Mr. Lorenzo Verona, Commercial Director at VNE, thanks all visitors to the stand at ICE, "The ICE is an excellent opportunity to reach out to international markets. Now with our remote services, we believe that more and more global customers can benefit from choosing VNE change machines. We are very focused on quality, innovation, service. Furthermore, our Italian flair for design makes our change machines stand out. We invite operators from all around the world to get in touch with us. Not only that, now is the time that entrepreneurs around the world can make use of our growth phase in potentially acting as a distribution and / or service centre for us".

RENO, NV – February 14, 2013 – Leap Forward Gaming, Inc. (LFG) has a history of creating groundbreaking products that forever change the way the gaming industry does business.  Now the company has done it again, this time with its revolutionary patented Picture-in-Picture (PiP) technology that was recently installed at Sands Macao, one of the Venetian Macau Limited (VML) family of casino properties.  VML is a subsidiary of Sands China Ltd.

LFG's PiP solution, known as Patron Display Interface (PDI), was selected as a "Top Ten Slot Floor Product" at the2012 Slot Floor Technology Awards.  PDI is a low-cost, turn-key solution that works seamlessly with all brands and generations of gaming machines, supporting all screen sizes, resolutions and aspect ratios.  It is a robust, completely customizable system utilizing the existing machine displays to develop, dynamically manage and present content to players, allowing for targeted marketing and bonusing campaigns and straightforward integration with multiple customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

PDI enables players to view and interact in real-time with configurable multimedia content on the machine screen, without impacting game play.  Real-time video streaming, animations, marketing messages, promotions, ads, session points, promotional credits and all player account information are just a touch away right on the game screen, ushering in a new era of creativity for operators along with interactivity for players.

Tim Merrill, Vice President of Casino Operations for Venetian Macau Limited added, "VML has always embraced leading-edge technology that provides our players with added-value and improves operational efficiencies and maximizes profitability.  We believe that the SaffariNet® Picture-in-Picture solution has great promise for all Venetian Macau Limited properties and we look forward to our continued partnership with LFG."

Leap Forward Gaming CEO Ali Saffari said, "Casino operators asked us to develop a low-cost, flexible and retrofittable Picture-in-Picture solution that works on all gaming machines and with all player tracking systems.  We listened, and our patented PDI technology is the Picture-in-Picture solution the industry has been waiting for.  LFG's PDI solution provides players with a greatly enhanced gaming experience and allows operators to utilize their existing machines and infrastructure, consequently maximizing profitability.  Sands Macao is the first of many major properties slated for installation of our ecosystem in Q1/Q2 of 2013."

A recent Eilers-Fantini Quarterly Slot Survey tracked slot machine and gaming technology purchasing trends of gaming operators.  A key summary finding was that operators are looking to add Picture-in-Picture technology to their gaming floors.  The summary states that roughly 33% of participants plan to install "Picture-in-Picture" (PiP) system technology over the next 12 months.
