Musical Histories – Catchy Songs to Enhance Primary History

Musical Histories offers a selection of songs that have been created to support and enhance primary history topics. Teachers visiting the site can download individual songs, a 2-song assembly package or a 6-song musical. Current topics covered by the site include the Romans, the Great Fire of London, World War II and the Tudors.

Performance tracks, backing tracks and lyric sheets can be downloaded, and preview tracks are also available. The resources are all created by Jo Holland, a primary school teacher with a music specialism. Find out more on the site and follow Musical Histories on Twitter.
