NAID Certification expands its reach in United Kingdom Posted: 28 May 2013 09:48 AM PDT PHOENIX, ARIZONA Recently, the U.K. based, secure destruction company Glazewing Ltd earned the NAID AAA Certification for demonstrating compliance with operational and security specifications for its information destruction processes and services. "Organizations served by Glazewing are very fortunate to have a company that takes their responsibility to destroy discarded sensitive information so seriously," said NAID CEO Bob Johnson. "According to the U.K. data protection laws, organizations have a responsibility to make sure destruction services can adequately protect personal information. Glazewing has made fulfilling that responsibility much easier by becoming NAID certified." NAID AAA Certification is earned by successfully completing an intense security audit conducted by an accredited security professional. To maintain the certification, Glazewing will be subject to surprise audits as well as routine scheduled audits. "We learned many years ago that frequent unannounced audits dramatically enhanced compliance," said Johnson. "They have to know an audit can come at any time, even if they recently had one." Glazewing joins Shredall Ltd (Nottingham) and Allshred Ltd (Oxon) who have already achieved NAID AAA Certification. Though the number of certified companies in the U.K. is small, it is steadily growing as customers demand better vendor qualifications. NAID currently has more than 40 member locations in the U.K. and almost 2,000 member locations globally. About NAID: The National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) is the non-profit trade association of the secure destruction industry, which currently represents more than 1,900 member locations globally. NAID's mission is to promote the proper destruction of discarded information through education and to encourage the outsourcing of destruction needs to qualified contractors, including those that are NAID certified. The NAID AAA Certification Program is offered on a voluntary basis to all NAID member companies providing information destruction services. Through the program, NAID members may seek certification for mobile and/or plant-based operations in paper or printed media, micro media, computer hard drive destruction, and/or computer hard drive sanitization. The certification program establishes standards for a secure destruction process, including such areas as operational security, employee hiring and screening, the destruction process, responsible disposal and insurance. NAID members who are seeking certification are required to submit the Certification Application and associated fees. NAID certified members are subject to announced and unannounced audits to validate certification.

The G2E Tradeshow held in Macau witnessed R.Franco's Tombola Roulette essence of gaming presented hand in hand with RGB Games. The event received a large number of casino and bingo visitors and operators searching for new and different products to offer additional gaming and entertainment alternatives and incentives to their clients. Indeed, it is a unique game within its category, completely developed by R.Franco, which meets and exceeds the most innovator and demanding client expectations. Mr. Jesús Franco headed the delegation for the event, accompanied by Ms. Mª José Gallardo, Benjamin Fernández, Marcos Marugán and José Miguel Esteban, who strengthened their commercial links with RGB executives. APEX gaming announces new partnership at FADJA Peru Posted: 28 May 2013 04:21 AM PDT
The growing demand for APEX gaming solutions is set to receive a great boost in Latin America. The international growth strategy of the APEX gaming management has notched up a further, new success in reaching a key distributor agreement with DRGT. DRGT has its Latin American subsidiary based in Lima, Peru. The forthcoming Peru gaming show – the FADJA Peru – that will take place next week between 29th and 30th May – is the perfect location to officially announce this exciting new partnership. A choice of three gaming cabinets from APEX gaming will be on display on the DRGT stand. Thus, the Pinnacle upright, the Pinnacle SL slant top and the Dual Slim Line upright will very soon be available to customers in Peru. Naturally the best of the best games under Multi Magic Classic are set to become favourites amongst players in Peru. Mr. Johannes Weissengruber, CEO and founder of APEX gaming, together with Max Pessnegger, CTO, will both be attending the FADJA Peru. The fact that the two key personnel of APEX gaming are both attending the FADJA Peru sends out a strong message – that APEX gaming is set become a major player in Peru thanks to the partnership with DRGT. Mr. Max Pessnegger himself states, "My working relationship with DRGT dates back to my time with BMM where I was privileged to get to know a very professional and approachable company in DRGT. DRGT is an excellent partner and we are very much looking forward to the FADJA Peru". Mr. Jurgen De Munck, CEO and co-founder of DRGT, sees great opportunities for APEX in Latin America, noting, "We already have received our first orders for APEX gaming machines, even before the official announcement. That underlines the potential great demand for APEX in Latin America and we are here with our extensive sales and service team to ensure that APEX can be enjoyed by players all around Latin America".

Panomera® protects European Karting Championship Posted: 28 May 2013 03:48 AM PDT Noted for its size and professional chicanes, the ProKart Raceland karting circuit at Wackersdorf is a regular venue in the calendar of international karting championship races. The latest such event, the FIA-CIK European Championship for the KZ class, was held here from 17 to 20 May 2013. Surveillance for the event was provided by the Panomera® multifocal sensor system.
The Raceland karting circuit in Wackersdorf is a truly "multipurpose" track that is ideally suited for practically any type of event. It is one of the largest karting circuits in Germany, so it is used regularly to host international race meetings. With an impressive length of 1,222 metres and a width that varies between 9 and 12 metres, the outdoor circuit at ProKart Raceland is a fast, demanding circuit. The professional track challenges drivers with eight right-handed and six left-handed curves, requiring total concentration and stamina. But apart from an exciting racing experience, the considerable size of the track also presents a major challenge for the video cameras. "We are operating a professional racing circuit here, and naturally this means that we also implement only the latest technology and the highest quality when it comes to security", says Stephan Fritsch, the owner of ProKart Raceland. So instead of setting up multiple cameras at various locations all over the premises, Stephan Fritsch settled on a more elegant solution: Just five Panomera® multifocal sensor systems from Dallmeier in a cascade arrangement which deliver a panoramic overview through more than 180°, thus covering the entire racing circuit from a single installation position. This is a vast area of 40,000 square metres! "Cooperation with Dallmeier was excellent, especially when you realise that the entire project from initial discussions to the actual installation of the cameras was completed in the space of just a few weeks. This meant that we succeeded in commissioning the new video system, including the recording servers, in time for the European Championship meeting, despite the tight deadline", says Michael Karl, a representative of Elektro-Kunz, which has been responsible for network and building systems engineering on the track for years. And he adds: "The great advantage of our new Panomera® cameras is not only their incredible image quality and resolution over the entire racing circuit, but also the ease with which they were installed: all we needed was one installation site! Of course, that saves not only wiring costs but also an enormous amount of work." So the stage was set for an exciting weekend of racing without a hitch. Video clip: http://youtu.be/Nx-QaweNxGQ

DRGT BRINGING APEX AND ALFASTREET TO LATIN AMERICA Posted: 28 May 2013 03:25 AM PDT
The FADJA Peru will take place in Lima between 29th and 30th May at the Westin Hotel and Convention Center. DRGT is taking a major presence as the only premium sponsor of this exhibition. The systems company has made great strides in Peru during the past year. Its unique marketing opportunities enable operators to communicate individually with their players in a way that was not previously possible. Coupled with the proven serverless technology that can connect all slots – it is no wonder that DRGT is where it is today. The revolutionary drScreen technology has changed the way systems are viewed in the marketplace with key benefits for both operators and players. The Latin American headquarters of DRGT are in Peru. At the forthcoming FADJA Peru, DRGT will be focusing just as much on its second business pillar – as distributor and service centre for major gaming manufacturers. Indeed DRGT will be making the official announcement of its partnership with Alfastreet and APEX gaming for Latin America at the local Peru show. Key personnel from both Alfastreet and APEX gaming will be attending the FADJA Peru and will be on the DRGT stand to support the market entry of both companies into Latin America. Mr. Ales Stefancic, Sales Executive from AlfaStreet and Mr. Johannes Weissengruber, CEO and founder of APEX gaming alongside his colleague Mr. Max Pessnegger, CTO, will be present at the DRGT stand. The Alfastreet multiplayer solutions will be on proud display. All three cabinets (Pinnacle, Pinnacle SL and Dual Slim Line) of APEX gaming will be approved for sale in Peru with the games selection Multi Magic Classic. Mr. Jurgen De Munck, CEO and co-founder of DRGT, is very pleased to have gained two key partnerships with Alfastreet for multiplayer solutions and APEX gaming for casino slots. He rightly notes, "Alfastreet and Apex gaming are both highly regarded and very successful in their business fields. Having partnered with DRGT, Latin American companies now have access to the leading gaming technology of Alfastreet and APEX as we are a strong, respected and trusted company with an excellent reputation here in Latin America. We have already notched up our first successes – even before the official announcement at the FADJA Peru. The first installation of Alfastreet multiplayers will take place in July at the renown Atlantic City Casino here in Peru with a total of 33 terminals. The combination of Derby, Roulette, Baccarat and Tiger vs. Dragon games will be an instant hit. For APEX – the first container of gaming machines will be going straight to customers. We are very confident of the opportunities for both companies here in Latin America".
