Brilliant Blogger of the Week: Anthony Evans Posted: 06 May 2013 10:00 AM PDT
Anthony Evans is our latest Brilliant Blogger… Anthony is an Assistant Headteacher at a school in north-east London. He has had lots of experience working in schools as a teacher, ICT co-ordinator and an ICT advisor. He has also worked for the wonderful company 2Simple, helping to develop Purple Mash (which I use regularly at school). He’s also a really nice guy and I’ve had the pleasure of meeting him on a few occasions, including at the fantastic Teachmeet iPad which he organised last year. Anthony’s blog, Ant’s ICT, is a great source of ideas and inspiration for those who use technology in their classroom. He regularly reviews new tools, products and apps, sharing his own experiences of using them in the classroom and at home with his family. The reviews are always clear and detailed and give you a great insight into how you could use the products yourself. Some of my favourite type of posts on his blog are the Tools, Sites, Apps and Stuff you have to read posts. Each week, Ant shares a selection of new ‘tools, sites, apps and stuff’ that he has discovered. I always read these and discover new things that I want to investigate further, so it’s well worth exploring the archive on Ant’s blog to see what you might have missed! You can also follow Anthony on Twitter. |
