These spectacular games incorporate 3D technology, new interactive systems for purchasing extra balls, bonuses ranging from car races to 80s music, 5 bonuses in a single game, images of real characters in video and community games, things which had never before been seen in a bingo machine.

Zitro Experience, an event packed full of surprises

Zitro celebrated this important company landmark in an event packed full of surprises. Zitro Experience is not just any old presentation; it is an experience, the experience of sharing a few hours with customers, showing them the innovation and the technology of Zitro's factory of ideas, through its games.

The event was spiced up with a tasting of Mexican products and, to top it off, those attending were able to enjoy one of the most successful musicals currently showing in the Federal District.

Images were also displayed of the 12,000 square metre avant-garde installations that Zitro has just opened in Barcelona, the site where 300 professionals create the best video bingo games in the world.

Mexico, a very important market

Zitro games have been the favourite of Mexican players' for a number of years now, making the country Zitro's largest market in the world. It is the undisputed leader here, where each new launch is awaited enthusiastically, because it translates into greater earnings and profitability and sets Zitro apart from the rest. The players are the ones who request the games, which provide a source of fun and entertainment for hours.

The huge variety of games satisfies the tastes of today's customers and attracts the younger clients, the customers of tomorrow, into the gaming rooms.

Gamesman gain advantage in Asia

Posted: 11 Jun 2013 08:18 AM PDT

LONDON (June 11th) – Gamesman's wholly owned Chinese manufacturing facility in Shenzhen represents an important resource and one which is key to the company's future growth in the region, according to Mark Smith, Managing Director of the international components developer and manufacturer.

Speaking after a successful showing at G2E Asia, where Gamesman was represented alongside US parent company Esterline, Smith said: "Asia is an important strategic market for us and one which we continue to invest in. G2E Asia offers us the chance to meet the key customers in the Asia Pacific region in one place and we had the opportunity to explain our vision and the enhanced opportunities that exist with our new owners Esterline, particularly in terms of the access it provides to new and relevant innovations arising from our combined research and development efforts.

"A recurring theme in Macau was the importance our customers in Asia place on us being accessible and well placed to serve their needs. In China we have an 3,250 sqm, modern manufacturing facility employing some 98 staff. The fact that it is wholly owned and that we are not simply buying production time from a third party, gives us a significant competitive edge in crucial areas such as quality control.  This has already yielded success enabling us to develop bespoke technology products for customers in the region. Shenzhen, which we opened in 2006, increases the Gamesman footprint and complements our offices in London Gatwick and Las Vegas."

Grosvenor Casinos deploy the IGT cloud in the world’s first multi-site cloud casino environment

Posted: 11 Jun 2013 01:23 AM PDT

(LONDON, 11 June, 2013) International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT), today announced that three Grosvenor casinos are immediately going live with the IGT Cloud – creating the world's first multi-site cloud casino environment. Grosvenor Casinos in Coventry, Reading and London will benefit from instant access to IGT's UK AVP game library and enhanced analytical reporting.

Driven by player behaviour and preference, the cloud-enabled casinos can make informed real-time decisions about which IGT games to deploy on each terminal. The three casinos have complete access to IGT's UK AVP game library, including all themes under IGT's Fort Knox progressive system.

Sabby Gill, Regional VP EMEA and LATAM

Simon Beacham, head of electronic gaming at Grosvenor Casinos says: "We are always looking for ways to provide our players with the very best gaming experiences possible. Through our IGT Cloud we now have the ability to evaluate the performance of games and quickly offer the best and newest IGT games to our players. Now, our customers can benefit from a customised gambling experience, with the games they want available at a touch of a button.”

Cloud adoption also represents a significant step forward in casino management. Where previously machine performance could only be measured on a terminal by terminal basis, the analytical tools provided by the IGT Cloud will enable important insight into product performance on a game by game basis. By instantly being able to analyse player trend data and other key performance indicators the casino operator can act on strategic information to optimise floor potential.

"The deployment of the world's first multi-site cloud casino environment with Grosvenor Casinos is a sign of IGT's forward thinking approach to driving technological innovation in the gambling industry” says Sabby Gill, regional vice president for EMEA and LATAM, IGT. "The IGT Cloud gives casinos the ability to optimise the gaming floor, thereby driving revenue and enhancing the gaming experience for the player."

The IGT Cloud will allow Grosvenor Casinos to pursue a convergence strategy joining up the land-based, online and mobile platforms, without the casinos needing to make any significant infrastructure investments. The initial launch includes a total of 26 AVPs connected, with plans to extend the cloud offering to other Grosvenor Casino sites later in the year.
