Over the past 15 years, our Teaching Ideas site has helped millions of teachers with free ideas and resources to use in their classrooms. This has obviously had a big impact on a considerable number of children around the world, who have been learning with our teaching materials (and those shared by our generous teaching community).

Now that Teaching Ideas is celebrating its birthday, we would like to help children in another way, so we have set up a fundraising page to support Save the Children. This wonderful charity works in more than 120 countries to save lives and help children to fulfil their potential.

We are asking teachers who have used our ideas and downloaded our resources to make a donation, however big or small. Here are some examples of how your money can help:

£3 could buy enough antibiotics to save ten babies from pneumonia.
£5 could buy a week’s worth of nutrient-rich food paste.
£10 could buy therapeutic medical milk for 8 days.
£25 could buy feeding tubes for children.

UK teachers can also donate by sending a text message to 70070. Just send the code TCHG50 £5 to make a donation of £5 – you can change the amount to £1, £2, £3, £4 or £10 if you wish, by changing amount in the code).
