NEWave Installs TINCheck Software at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races

LAS VEGAS (July 8, 2013) – NEWave, the leading software supplier to the gaming industry, is expanding its relationship with Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races, installing its leading TINCheck software at the casino.

Previously, NEWave installed its Audit Manager and Title 31 software tools at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races.

The casino, located in Ranson, West Virginia, will use NEWave's TINCheck software across the entire operation, from slot floor to table games.

Praesepe’s got talent!

Milton Keynes UK (July 8th): Gaming heavyweight Praesepe, which operates the Cashino brand, the UK's largest chain of adult gaming centres, recognised the huge depth of talent which exists within its ranks courtesy of its annual Cashino Awards.  The best and brightest members of the Cashino team battled it out for a total of four coveted titles covering Manager of the Year, Area Manager of the Year, Employee of the Year and Venue of the Year.

Julie Rathbone who heads up the team at Hounslow, won the prestigious Manager of the Year award, seeing off intense competition from across the country. Julie excelled in a number of areas, not least her success in building income by close to 300 per cent, recording some of the lowest exceptions in the company and delivering consistently high levels of customer service.

The title of Cashino Employee of the Year went to Wilfrido Narvaez whose skills in looking after the diverse customer base at London’s Crystal Rooms – including the succession of industry VIPs who visit the iconic Leicester Square venue – meant that he was the clear winner.

Teamwork was at the heart of Plymouth’s success in being named Venue of the Year.  The entire team worked tirelessly to make the successful transition to 24-hour trading and increase income by 10 per cent in the process. The venue also enhanced the work of central marketing, supplementing national campaigns with their own localised initiatives, which proved extremely popular with customers.

An ability to solve seemingly intractable problems, a hugely positive outlook and a commitment to bring out the very best in her team, were just three of the reasons behind Gill Clulows’ achievement in being named Area Manager of the Year. Gill was the first Area Manager to get all of her venues opening 24-hours and also took full control of Bingo Express, launching new venues, arranging installations and staging promotions throughout the year. Runner-Up in the category was Graham Waddington, who recorded some of the best Mystery Shopper scores and exception levels in the country.

Heralding the awards, Stephen Lawrence, Chief Operating Officer for AGCs, said: “A large part of why Cashino is the gaming destination of choice on the high street, is down to the welcome our customers’ receive when they walk through our doors. These well earned awards reflect the skill and dedication of our staff in delivering such a consistently positive experience to customers the length and breadth of the country.”
