| Free Grow Your Own Salad Kits for Primary Schools Posted: 03 Jul 2013 10:00 AM PDT The British Leafy Salad Association are offering 220 free Grow Your Own Salad kits to primary schools in the UK. The kits help children to learn about where their food comes from and encourages them to remember the importance of a healthy balanced diet. Schools can register now and the kits will be sent out on a first come, first served basis in the autumn term. The site also includes a teachers’ guide (with relevant curriculum links), information sheets, interactive whiteboard activities and pupil friendly worksheets to download.
