GTECH FEATURES NEW COMMUNITY AND LICENSED GAMES AT G2E

Posted: 12 Sep 2013 11:48 AM PDT

(LAS VEGAS, Nevada) GTECH, with its gaming product brand, SPIELO, is bringing gaming to life at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas from September 24 – 26, 2013. GTECH booth 1265 will be buzzing with several new titles, including brand new community games Bejeweled® and DEAL OR NO DEAL™: In It To Win It™.

Last year's G2E saw the launch of slot versions of PopCap® Games-branded perennial favorites, Bejeweled, Zuma®, and Plants vs. Zombies™. This year the fun can be shared with the latest in GTECH's Community product line, Bejeweled, which offers two entertaining base games, a guaranteed-to-hit time-based Community Bonus, as well as a variety of randomly-triggered Bejeweled Bonuses. Players collect badges during the base games, and choose their favorite gem in the Community Bonus.

For fans of DEAL OR NO DEAL, Howie Mandel and the girls are back with DEAL OR NO DEAL: In It To Win It. This game simulates the thrill of being a contestant in a studio atmosphere with two brand new core games. The bonus is triggered at the same time, and everyone gets to play their own bonus out of five available.

Finally, GTECH is featuring more than 20 core games, including new games Treasure Blast™ and Secrets of Babylon™. Treasure Blast is a unique combination of a dominant stacked symbol, activating wild symbols, and player bonus control: players decide when to start the bonus feature. In Secrets of Babylon, players get a glimpse into the mystical city while uncovering its secrets in this three-line, four-reel game specifically designed for high denominations. A Mystery Bonus triggered randomly in the base game gives the player a choice between a credit win or the option of turning reels one and two wild for the current spin.

On June 3, 2013, SPIELO International's parent company, Lottomatica Group, changed its name to GTECH S.p.A. As part of this change, the company's formerly separate business units, including SPIELO International, are being brought together under the GTECH corporate brand name to become a unified, customer-facing structure. With this realignment, the company is taking the final steps to effectively deliver comprehensive gaming solutions that meet their customers' evolving requirements. G2E 2013 marks the first time SPIELO will appear as a product brand under the new GTECH corporate brand.

These North American casino games are only a sample of GTECH's full complement of cabinets, games, systems, and software, including products for both land-based and iGaming operations. Visit Booth 1265 at G2E 2013 to see much more, and find out how GTECH is bringing gaming to life.

WMS to Debut New Premium Games for Player-Popular Gamefield xD™ Cabinet at G2E® 2013

Posted: 12 Sep 2013 11:39 AM PDT

WAUKEGAN, Ill. & LAS VEGAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Sep. 12, 2013– Amplifying the unique player engagement that has made the WMSGamefield xD cabinet one of the most successful commercial gaming product launches in recent industry history, WMS Gaming Inc., a subsidiary of WMS Industries Inc. (NYSE:WMS), will showcase two new, sure-to-become player favorite games for the revolutionary cabinet, at the 13th annual Global Gaming Expo (G2E), September 24-26, at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas(booth #1118). The new BEETLEJUICE and CLUE Gamefield xD games extend the exciting player gaming entertainment resulting from the un-paralleled experience available only on the Gamefield xD cabinet.

"The ground-breaking design of the Gamefield xD cabinet features a unique, expansive field of view from its two 32-inch LCD screens and spectacular high-definition graphics that provide industry-first, attention-grabbing visual perspectives and powerful new player entertainment experiences, which have resulted in the cabinet quickly proving to be one of the industry's strongest performing products," said Larry Pacey, Executive Vice President, Global Products and Chief Innovation Officer of WMS. "As follow-up games to the very successful MONOPOLY™ and THE WIZARD OF OZ™ Gamefield xD games, these new player-appealing games offer the same exceptional levels of player interaction."

Not only do the Gamefield xD cabinets stand out on the casino floor, the diversity of available games contributes to player appeal that stretches across a broad spectrum of casino patrons. With more than 1,500 units installed in casinos, the Gamefield xD gaming machines are generating play levels for casino operators "that often range on average at up to three or four times a casino's house average, as measured by 'coin-in' wagering amounts," according to Pacey.

"WMS combines imaginative game content, innovative cabinet design and advanced technologies to continually raise the bar on gaming entertainment," added Pacey. "Through this focus, we create superior differentiated products that are designed to deliver high gaming entertainment value to players and as a result, long-lasting value for casino operators."

Beetlejuice Game

The BEETLEJUICE game, expected to be available early in calendar 2014, combines the same comedy-horror-fantasy elements as the eponymous cult classic film and the film's popular music such as "The Banana Boat Song" ("Day-O") and "Jump in the Line" ("Shake, Senora") to create a uniquely entertaining WAP game. Featuring the movie's original creative "haunted house" characters, game play utilizes a large 6×9 reel array with super-sized symbols that offers players 80 lines of gaming action. Three unique BEETLEJUICEsymbols trigger a wheel spin that can award players the opportunity to win one of four mini-bonus rounds. With multiple additional bonus rounds and award multipliers providing extra game entertainment and excitement for their original wager, players will also find that over-sized symbols in the base game result in a unique aspect for every reel spin.

Clue Game

Expanding the range of engaging WAP gaming experiences available on the Gamefield xD cabinet will be a new contemporary version of the classic detective game. The CLUE Gamefield xD game has been designed to optimize all of the benefits enabled by the cabinet's large field of vision with its stacked 5-reel array and combines the fun and challenge of the original "who done it in what room with what weapon" solve-the-crime mystery with clever gaming experiences such as a "ladder-like" bonus round that stacks the rooms vertically across the 32" top screen. The excitement builds as players randomly and correctly solve elements leading to the ultimate correct answer that triggers a big win. The fun continues as the game's characters "talk" to players during the action.

See what has quickly proved to be one of WMS' newest top performing platforms, the unique Gamefield xD gaming machine, the power of the CPU-NXT3 operating system and the BEETLEJUICE and CLUE games along with more than 100 other exciting participation and for-sale games that reflect WMS' commitment to consistently introduce "A Brand New Game™" on display at G2E2013 (booth #1118).

HD cameras with excellent low light performance DDF4320HD-DN and DDF4520HDV-DN

Posted: 12 Sep 2013 03:10 AM PDT

With the DDF4320HD-DN and DDF4520HDV-DN Dallmeier launches two new HD cameras with excellent low light performance.

The DDF4320HD-DN and the vandal-resistant DDF4520HDV-DN are hybrid dome cameras, providing HD video in real-time (720p/30) using the H.264 codec and supporting resolutions up to 1.3 megapixel. In addition to HD video over IP, the hybrid cameras provide for a simultaneous analogue SD (PAL/NTSC) video output via BNC (CVBS).

High low light performance The cameras are characterized by their Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and ability to capture images with highest colour fidelity and superb detail reproduction even in scenes with a wide range of contrast and strong backlighting. The excellent low light performance also provides for clear and low noise images even in low light conditions.

Besides a comprehensive set of automatic and manual image optimization functions and many other setting options, the cameras feature automatic Day/Night operation supported by integrated ambient light sensing and a removable IR cut filter (ICR).

Motor-driven varifocal lens The cameras are equipped with a fast (large maximum aperture) and motor-driven P-Iris megapixel varifocal lens (F1.2 – F2.3 / 3 – 9 mm) which allows for the convenient adjustment and configuration of the zoom, focus and iris via the web browser. The novel P-Iris control technology, designed for a precise and automatic adjustment of the best iris position (optimum aperture), thereby realizes a significantly improved image quality compared to conventional DC auto iris lenses with excellent contrast, brilliant clarity and enhanced detail resolution combined with a greater depth of field.
