Practise quick-fire calculations at Maths Champs! Posted: 04 Jul 2013 10:00 AM PDT
Pearson has set up a new site that lets children practise their number skills by playing a selection of fantastic free games. The games on Maths Champs are organised into different age group sections and cover addition, subtraction, multiplication tables, counting backwards / forwards, ordering numbers, comparing numbers and more. The site can be used as part of whole class activities on an interactive whiteboard, or by children independently on laptops / iPads. Points are given to the children as they play, giving the chance to compete against each other and also play again to improve their score.
