Join the Literacy Shed Conference!

Places are now available for the first Literacy Shed conference in Manchester in January 2014. This exciting event is being organised by the creator of the Literacy Shed and some other inspiring educators.

The event will help teachers to learn about:

  • How to use comics in the classroom,
  • Blogging and using iPads (and other technology) in the classroom,
  • Using images, film and animation to support reading and writing.

You can book your place now on the Literacy Shed site. It sounds like it will be a really inspiring event and the organisers are hoping to plan other conferences at different locations in the future.
