Have a Sponsored Welly Walk to help end hunger in Africa

Farm Africa, a charity that works to tackle hunger in Africa, is asking schools across the UK to get their wellies on and help to raise important funds. To get involved, schools are asked organise a sponsored walk in their wellies. Students and teachers can go on a walk, of any length, and add up the total distance to the Welly Miles Tracker website. The site will then let schools print out a certificate showing their contribution!

Fractions Teaching Resources from Teaching Packs

Do your children struggle with their fractions? We have recently create a pack of teaching resources to help!

The new Fractions Pack, available on Teaching Packs, contains over 250 printable goodies that can be used in the classroom during your Maths lessons. The pack includes a guide to fractions (useful for whole class teaching or for a display), an enormous collection of fractions posters, sixty activity sheets, printable fraction walls, reference bookmarks, fractions games (including snap cards, follow me cards and dominoes) and display banners.
