Get Differentiated Resources from Classroom Secrets

Classroom Secrets

I discovered Classroom Secrets a few weeks ago and have been impressed with the resources that they have on offer. Their focus is on providing differentiated teaching materials, most of which are differentiated six ways. This means that they can be used with children of different ages and abilities. There are about 500 resources on the site at the moment, with lots of starter and plenary activities, problem solving materials and comprehension printables. The majority of the content is linked to Literacy and Numeracy, but they have recently started a ‘Topic’ section based on the Vikings.

The site is created by Claire Riley who has worked as a primary teacher, a secondary teacher, a supply teacher and a tutor. Claire says that she always used to search the Internet for resources and then had to spend her weekend recreating them for the sake of differentiation. As a result, she decided to set up Classroom Secrets to make life easier for other teachers.

In order to access the resources, you need to register on the site. There are lots of free resources for registered members but to access everything costs £15 for a year. However, if you sign up by the end of January 2014, the membership cost is only £10.
