Get your Free Resource Pack from Sport Relief Posted: 10 Feb 2014 11:42 AM PST
Sport Relief is coming soon, taking place from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd March 2014. The event encourages us to get active, have fun and raise money to change people’s lives around the world. 1.2 million school children took part in Sport Relief 2012, raising £5.8 million. Will your school be taking part this year? Free resource packs are available for primary and secondary schools, nurseries and youth groups. These include educational posters, fundraising ideas, balloons and stickers. Schools can also order sets of wristbands to sell as the event approaches, raising money for the charity. The Schools area on the Sport Relief site also has a variety of free teaching resources, including assemblies, lesson plans, videos, pictures and audio clips about life in places that are support by the charity. The new ‘Daniel’s Story’ video tells the story of a ten year old boy called Daniel who is a child worker in Ghana. There are also accompanying resources to help your children learn about his life.
