Scout Lesson Resources

The Scout Activity Centres have recently added a new set of teaching resources to their fantastic site. If you haven’t seen them yet, they offer free downloadable ideas and resources to support work in Science, Design+Technology and other areas. Some of the current resources include:

  • Strong Structures – Challenging children to design and make a miniature zip-line!
  • Discovering Minibeasts – Making and using a pooter to find and identify minibeasts.
  • Making Sense of Maps – Helping children to learn about maps with the construction of a 3D landscape!

The Scout Association will also be launching new resources at the Education Show this week. If you’re attending the show, go and visit them to receive some free resources and take part in practical skills demonstrations!
