New Social Networking Resources in partnership with Skooville

Skooville is a wonderful, safe social networking site for children. I’ve been using it with my classes for many years and the children love the different tools that it offers. It’s also a wonderful way of introducing them to online communication as it is protected 24/7 by trained moderators.

We have just published huge collection of new social networking resources on our Teaching Ideas site to help teachers use Skooville in their lessons and their after-school clubs. The resources include:

Ways to use Skooville in your classroom - A large collection of suggested ways that teachers can use Skooville in their lessons and clubs.
Skooville Stars Posters – Free activity sheets and display resources to support work using the Skooville Internet safety stars.
Skooville Challenge Cards - A set of cards featuring a range of challenges to help your children to explore Skooville.
Display letters and banners – Display resources to decorate classrooms and ICT suites.
