Panomera receives All Over IP Award

Posted: 07 Dec 2011 10:10 AM PST

Panomera by Dallmeier has received another award: The multi-sensor system won the Innovation Award at the All Over IP Forum in Russia.

The All Over IP Forum, which took place late November in Moscow, is one of the most important networking events for IT, security and telecommunications experts in Russia. Every year, on the occasion of the exhbition, the All-Over-IP Award is given to particularly innovative products and technologies. The multi-sensor system Panomera by Dallmeier was among the innovations that convinced jurors and thus received the award.

Panomera was specially developed for the all-encompassing video surveillance of expansive areas. With this completely new camera technology, a huge area can be surveyed from a single location in a highly efficient manner. Therefore the requirements for infrastructure are lower: where previously several HD cameras had to be installed, a single Panomera system is now enough .The system highly impresses with the unique combination of an overall view with simultaneous high detail resolution: even objects that are farther away can be displayed with the same resolution as objects in the foreground of the picture. This makes it possible to still identify people at a distance of 160m and more.

About Dallmeier Dallmeier has at its disposal more than 25 years of experience in transmission, recording as well as picture processing technology and is an outstanding pioneer of CCTV/IP solutions worldwide. This profound knowledge is used in the development of intelligent software and high quality recorder and camera technologies enabling Dallmeier to not only offer stand-alone systems, but complete network solutions up to large-scale projects with perfectly integrated components. Right from the beginning the company always focused on own innovative developments and highest quality and reliability. Dallmeier is the only manufacturer in Germany that develops and manufactures all components on its own. This includes the entire product range, from cameras to picture storage and transmission to intelligent video analysis and even individually adjusted management systems. Quality made by Dallmeier, made in Germany!

Over the years, Dallmeier has repeatedly given fresh impetus to the market with new developments and extraordinary innovations. The world's first DVR for example, which introduced digital recording to the entire CCTV industry, came from Dallmeier. The multi-sensor system Panomera will have a similarly groundbreaking effect: This unique and novel camera technology will revolutionise the market and open up completely new possibilities to the video security industry. This and the extensive experience in the CCTV and IP field have lead to a top position in the international market for digital video surveillance systems.

SEMINOLE TRIBE OF FLORIDA SELECTS BALLY’S iVIEW DISPLAY MANAGER™ (DM) AND ELITE BONUSING SUITE™ TO ENGAGE AND EXCITE PLAYERS

Posted: 07 Dec 2011 09:57 AM PST

LAS VEGAS, December 7, 2011 — Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BYI), a leader in slots, video machines, casino-management, mobile and interactive applications, and networked systems for the global gaming industry, today announced that the Seminole Tribe of Florida Inc. is implementing Bally's award-winning iVIEW DM and Elite Bonusing Suite solutions to engage and excite patrons at its Seminole Casino Coconut Creek.

Ramesh Srinivasan, President and Chief Operating Officer of Bally Technologies

As part of its major casino expansion at the property, the Seminole Tribe is implementing the iVIEW DM player-user-interface on the majority of the casino's 2,400 games to elevate customer service and increase excitement across the casino floor. Used together, iVIEW DM and the Elite Bonusing Suite applications enable interactive, floor-wide player-bonusing applications such as instant slot tournaments, virtual-racing events, and U-Spin™ real-time bonusing – on most gaming devices with a touch-screen display – without interrupting base-game play.

"We saw just how powerful these promotions can be when we attended Bally's Systems User Conference last March and experienced the DM Tournaments and virtual-racing events ourselves live on the casino floor," said Paul Tjoumakaris, Senior Vice President of Gaming for the Seminole Tribe of Florida. "With the expansion and remodel of our Coconut Creek casino, we're excited to use these solutions to elevate patron self-service at the game and generate buzz on the floor."

The Seminole Tribe's investment in iVIEW DM and the Elite Bonusing Suite follows an enterprise-wide agreement that they signed last spring to upgrade their operations with Bally's SDS™ Windows® slot-management and slot-accounting system at six casinos in Florida.

"We have had a long-standing partnership with Seminole Gaming and are thrilled to take it to the next level with iVIEW DM and the Elite Bonusing Suite," said Ramesh Srinivasan, President and Chief Operating Officer of Bally Technologies. "When it comes to engaging players and delivering great service at the point-of-play without interrupting that vital slot revenue stream, these tools are very powerful."

Along with the new investments in Bally products, Seminole Gaming is using a host of other Bally solutions throughout their operations, which boast the largest high-speed Game-to-System (G2S) network in the gaming industry using Bally's systems since 2007.

Every one of their more than 11,000 games feature Bally's iVIEW player-user-interface displays, and the Seminole Tribe also uses Bally Command Center™ for centralized upload of iVIEW content; eTICKET™ for ticket-in/ticket-out, Bally Power Bonusing™ for bonusing, gaming, and promotions; Tableview™ for real-time table ratings and table management; and CMP™ for casino accounting, financial audits, reporting and compliance, player ratings, and management of player-loyalty programs.
