Win £3000 of resources in the Discover Writing Competition!

A new writing competition is now open to all UK primary schools. The first prize includes:

  • £2,000 of school library furniture / equipment,
  • Creative writing resources worth over £800,
  • A one year subscription to Primary Teacher Update,
  • A school visit from children's author Tom Palmer.

There are also two runners up prizes including writing resources worth over £800.

Primary schools are asked to create a writing project based on the theme of ‘Discovery’ to inspire writing in the classroom. Projects can be based in a class, across a year group or throughout the whole school. Once registered on the competition site, teachers will have access to ideas, tips and suggestions from the judging panel as well as the entry form and regular competition updates.
